Peace Out!

Students who stop going to school are called dropouts. You might have heard of them while you were growing up. You might have known one yourself. Why, you could be one.

In the real world, people who stop going to their jobs are called quitters, not dropouts, so let's not dance around the facts, all right? I'm a dropout.

Molly says:

Hey, Sylvia. How are your headaches? I haven't finished my paper. I'm a quitter. Did you droput of work?

I'm tired. I love thunderstorms. My knee aches. I'm going to eat.

Hey Molly, I hate to disappoint readers, but no, I didn't REALLY drop out of work. I lie--I lie for your entertainment. I guess that's a good exchange. Hey, email me at mediocrityissafe@yahoo.com because I want to talk about class/the paper/what our group needs to read and discuss for our next meeting. :-( I want to quit school.

So you didn't really drop out of j-school? I was worried for a minute that you might have left Sue hanging at the Bell... That's one thing I'm sure she wouldn't need...

Greetings, Jonathan. I can't waste my "quitter" card for work; I have to save it for school.
